Jillian Holtzmann has always known two things:

1) The world is infinitely cool though bizarrely most people don't seem to realize it.

2) She does truly suck at fitting in.

For a while, it seemed that these two things were immutable truths she'd just have to get used to, but that was before she met Abby. Things have been a bit different sinhce then. (And they even say that guy from the Incident is showing signs of waking up! Things are looking up all over.)

What Holtzmann fails to have in physical bulk (she's a tiny bit of a thing, she's used to this, honestly it's a benefit except when trying to buy clothes, that can be painful) she makes up for in sheer presence of personality. She learned a long time ago that being quiet and demure got her pretty much nowhere. Her clothing tends to fail to meet societal norms (though she knows full well she looks good), she pretty much always has some form of eye protection on her (engineering may need to happen, it's a hazard), and she probably has something on her that either explodes or can catch fire. Sometimes both. Probably both.
Also she has a swiss army knife. Of course she has a swiss army knife, are you crazy?
Also?
She ain't afraid of no ghosts.
